Pact’s founders, Katie Centolella and Brent Xavier, first began working together in 2014. At the time, Brent was operating multiple businesses and growing tired of corporate law firms passing him from one transactional attorney to the next. He needed someone who could support his entrepreneurial vision with general counsel across all his endeavors. That’s when he found Katie, an attorney who shared his frustrations with an outdated legal industry and was determined to do things differently.

Rather than wait for the legal industry to change, Katie and Brent partnered up in 2020 to change it themselves. With Katie’s experience as a general counsel, business consultant and executive alongside Brent’s law and entrepreneurial savvy, they formed Pact, a legal service built as a modern, smarter alternative to traditional legal options.

Serial entrepreneur and attorney, Brent brings an extensive background in business, management, and law to the table. Having been at the ground level of businesses and having helped large corporations grow, he is uniquely qualified to think creatively about businesses of all sizes.
Through Pact, he’s found a way to merge his business development know-how with his legal industry experience. And he is committed to re-designing how law and business merge so businesses can grow realistically and affordably.
